Nice accommodations, but unsafe.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a stay here due to safety issues. We valet parked in order to avoid having to walk Baltimore city streets at night. It is not a safe area and we were approached by several people, one of them very intimidating and I do not intimidate easily. I had to act aggressively to get him back off of my elderly parents. Also unfortunately, the hotel was understaffed so there was one person trying to run valet, and there was a back up of six cars.Just walking from the car into the hotel was literally dangerous. Again I do not scare easily and have lived in the downtown of three major U.S. cities. They need security and a police presence.

Clean Hotel

Hotel and rooms was very nice. The only problem. The desk clerk told me I had to put $450.00 down in advance until I checked out and it would take 7 to 10 days to be deposited back into my account. Plus it's Downtown in the middle of (Very Heavy Traffic.) other than that, breakfast was decent, and my room was clean.
