Good hotel to stay when in AC. Needs a little TLC.

On the good side: We enjoyed coming to Golden Nugget because it offers the most for it's value. It's located a little bit farther from the boardwalk but at the same time it offers a quieter ambiance. The entertainment at the Deck is okay. On the down side: Needs a little TLC. The carpets are a little smelly, saturated with carpet fresheners and old dust. There's a sign inside the room indicating smoking is probibited and that they're equipped with sensors to detect smoking from cigarettes, cannabis and vapor - the room still smells like someone smoked in it.

The room smelled and a/c and fridge not working. Terrible dust and dirty smell. Moved to a room at 2:00 a.m. with my daughter and granddaughter woke to someone pounding on the door. Man said had to leave room smoking alarm was going of but no signs or smoke or anything like that. Hotel is charging me 750 dollars for some 3 individual alarms which is total scam.

I found the Golden Nugget to be a good hotel. It is an older hotel but you can see that there is a great effort to maintain it.

We liked everything. The only thing was the bed was too firm for me but this was a me problem as I am 9 months pregnant. Not a hotel problem. The chart house was really good and would definitely recommend. Didn’t get a chance to get to the pool but it look nice. All staff was exceptional with being able to answers questions or help.

It didn’t have no microwave that’s such an inconvenience. And you had to stake out for the hot tub, there needs to be a time limit on the hot tubs

The Golden Nugget AC is the best location with the Marina. The pool area , dining and ambience is simply fantastic. The renovation is excellent .

I honestly don’t even know where to start. The moment we walked into our room, there was a bad smell. You can hear everything in the hallway—anyone walking or talking—and around 9 a.m., housekeeping was making so much noise right outside our door that it was impossible to relax. The sink was dirty, and to my surprise, there was no shampoo or body wash at all, which has never happened to me at any hotel before. On top of that, I don’t understand the resort fee when each bottle of water in the room is $4. They can make sure the water is stocked, but can’t refill basic toiletries? Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Several restaurants to choose from. The pool took away the umbrella rentals. There were no shaded areas. Should return to rental umbrellas.
