The room was way too hot and wouldn’t cool down. The shower had significant mildew/mold in the grout. In the breakfast room, the trash was overflowing the entire 3 nights we were there with what appeared to be the same trash. Overall not very clean. The staff was very friendly.

Nice room and bed. Breakfast quite nice especially for the price. On demand coffee all days was a great plus for our very cold winter stay. Shuttle worked great. In warmer weather could even walk to the hot if you wanted to— not in winter tho.

The first day that we had stayed, our room appeared not super clean. The front desk staff Megan was rude when we asked for a rollaway bed. The second day, however when we came back the front desk, lady was nicer, more informative, and helpful when we asked for dishes for our room with the stove, top and rollaway bed. Our room was clean and quiet. The front desk staff were always helpful. The breakfast was wholesome with good choices. The only one thing to suggest is Wyndham hotel could consider installing a Second automatic coffee/chocolate/hot water machine. The only one there get used a lot by residents in the morning, afternoon when they bring their own snacks and at night before they leave for the night adventures. The only machine there broke down several times as a result and it took sometime before it was repaired. One time I heard the front desk murmured that it has been used “too much” which is understandable as it is the only source of hot drinks available. May be you can consider issuing tokens for guests to use to limit the number of times each guest can use this machine!

Staff are efficient, friendly, and they are helpful with guest’s needs. They offer complimentary drinks (coffee, hot water, chai tea) -much needed for the cold weather. The area is accessible to the airport and they offer 24 hour shuttle which makes it more convenient for guests. It was great to stay in this place.

Overall, a great stay! Easy to extend visit by one day, easy to check in, room was nearby lobby and cafe, but very quiet, breakfast was wonderful, staff graciously helped with confirming activity reservation. BUT - my criticism, maybe suggestion - involves computer and printer in Lobby. I tried to use it to print boarding pass, was unable to get help from anyone at the reception desk - one even dramatically said "We don't do that!" WOW, wondered why electronics even there...maybe train receptionists how to use system, print out directions to post near equipment, something...

We stayed at the Fairbanks AK location. We had a 6 am flight. They had a shuttle ready for us at 4:30 am. So we were able to give our rental car back the night before. Hugely helpful! In general, we had a very comfortable stay. The shower and beds were great! The only problem was the broken room air. It was impossible to adjust. Because there were no vents, we got A LOT of cold air blowing over us. The hotel itself was clean, well appointed and had these magnificent willow wood sculptures on each floor. I tried to inquire as to the maker, but no one knew. If anyone is reading this, I would love to find out who/when/where made them. I think it would be great if they labeled them with all information regarding the sculptures. They are true works of art and La Quinta should be proud to display them appropriately!
