I spent a lot or money for my family and i to have a 4 day vacation and it was not what I expected. The lobby needs update. Beach towels not accessible, they always ran out. the staff at the restaurant were not available to take your order for 20mins then food took an hour to come out. The food was cold upon arrival. There was only one guy taking the order and he always looked exhausted. My sheets were dirty spilled with chocolate on it and the next day they made the bed without changing the sheets. I had to sleep with the same dirty sheets. Water was turned off was not able to flush the toilet. No hot water at times to shower. Tried speaking to manager was not accommodating. He dismissed my concerns. I did not enjoy my stay there. Will not go back there.

The location was great, they staff was extremely helpful and polite, had a great stay. We were here for a week and enjoyed it. We had a problem with the water in our room but the staff moved us to another room with no problem.

The beach view is great! Loved that it is right on the water. Most front desk associates were lovely but 1 younger larger lady was very rude. I didnt get her name but another guest checking in said something as well once we left the front lobby. The tv didnt work from the time we arrived. I had mentioned it to this same lady and upon check out it still had not been fixed. The service at the restaurant was mediocre. Most day server's, are on island time. There was a massive hole above my room door outside and a bird lived there. Which caused fecal matter to be on the stairs. It also flew out anytime the door was open. The pool area was clean minus the old wooden highchair, lack of landscaping and debris/sand filled water. The beach was definitely the best part of the hotel. The access and being able to hear the waves from the room. Speaking of room- they never changed the bedding and my top blanket had a cigarette burn. All and all the locals and beach made the experience but wouldnt recommend for a long time family trip. Gives off a hostel hotel type vibe.

Pool towels for the pool was never available to use they were always either in the washer or the dryer . The food was over priced for the guest to stay at the resort and I can’t say I enjoyed eating any of it. The last day I began to see roaches. The only thing I enjoyed was access to the public ocean.

The property is generally in rough shape… - The shower only had really really hot water or cold. - Rust on the bathroom fixtures. - We found a rouge pair of underwear under the bed 😬 - By 9:30am they were out of beach towels. - Breakfast service was really slow, like 50 minutes for to-go pancakes, French toast and coffee. Redeeming features of this resort is the beach being steps away.

They were working on the exterior of the building around the balconies. I had to leave the curtains closed while they were working. The rest of the resort was beautiful.

The Emerald Beach Resort is a beautiful prpoerty but it is outdated with non existent management. The staff is unfriendly and it is hard to tell who is running the resort. It feels unsafe as there are outside locals that seem to dominate the bar and beach area and smoke weed late into the morning hours on the beach while making noise or the man that was sleeping in the pool area that was supposed to be secured to only resort guests. The resort would improve with new management that took care of the guests and protected the property.

I like that the property is right on the water. They had enough chairs and umbrellas that were free for the guests. Downfalls, were the service at the restaurant was very slow, “ island time”. You have to pay extra for everything. Bottle water was 3$. The taxi are very expensive and prices charge by the day. I ended up buying my own liquor, gallon water and snacks at the nearby gas station.

There were feral cats all over property the fridge in our room smelled like sour fish the cleanliness of the property was horrible and I didn’t have hot water none of the days I was here I went to a friend’s hotel on the other side of the island to shower I contacted the front desk multiple times and nothing was done about me not having hot water

The hotel was located on a beautiful beach in St. Thomas. The staff was professional and very friendly. I gave it a 5/6 for only a reason. Our bathroom floor was seeping water from under the tiles. Although, they tried fixing it, they weren't able to repair it. They offered us to change to another room. However, we loved the room which was on the ground floor with a beautiful view of the ocean. They did accommodate us with extra towels for the bathroom floor daily.

I DIDN'T MAKE MY 2ND TRIP BUT MY FIRST TRIP EXPERIENCE COMING HERE WAS A VIBE AND I AM COMING BACK. THE FOOD WAS GOOD, THE POOL & BEACH IS ALL THERE THE ROOM WAS CLEAN JUST NEED TO HAVE MORE PRESSURE WITH THE HOT WATER BUT OVERALL I LOVE IT SEE YOU SOON
