The property is well located in Alexander Platz, but the surrounding area is noisy and super busy. The room was well appointed but small without coffee or a bottle of water in the room. We used the same 3 paper cups as they were not replaced.

The rooms are SMALL!!!!! Large suitcase cannot pass by the foot of the bed, side tables are just big enough for my glasses & cell phone. No place for 2 suitcases, not even floor space, so we had to use the little table in the corner of the room. Great place if you only need to sleep, but not comfortable to just hang out in your room. Staff was friendly, lobby, breakfast room & lounge are all beautiful spaces. Breakfast is very nice, with a wide range of foods for anyone's taste, including GF bread & alternative milk products for coffee. Easy spot for taxis to come & go.

Great location at the Alexanderplatz S&U-bahn

I wasn't in my room much, but it was clean and modern. Was mostly out in the city. Great location, and no negatives except for a late night false alarm fire alarm. Hard to blame the hotel for that one.

Not the best experience.

Booked this hotel for a business trip, but unfortunately it wasn’t that good. The hotel did appear clean, but a few factors dampened the overall experience. Breakfast had very little choice with no cooked choices other than a boiled egg and one of our party had very little option for gluten free - not acceptable for the price. One of the waiting staff in the rooftop bar was very rude and told us off in a rude manner for “not waiting to be seated” when a colleague of theirs had seated us. Not how I would accept a modern hotel in a vibrant city to act. There also appeared to be a crime scene outside in the morning that was visible from the foyer where the police had put tape up around what appeared to be a large trail and pool of blood, this of course isn’t the hotels fault, but it did make me feel that this area of Alexanderplatz was unsafe. The blood was also not cleaned up and was just on the pedestrian area outside the hotel and toward cinema and restaurants. I wouldn’t stay here, or this area again.

Had a lovely stay at Motel One. Don't let the "motel" name throw you off. This is a large, modern, comfortable and clean hotel in one of the most convenient locations in Berlin. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great location

Great location - transport links to airport and everywhere in the city 2 minute walk away. Couldn’t fault the stay. View of the TV tower from rooms on one side of hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Motel One Berlin – Alexanderplatz. Check-in was quick and seamless, which we really appreciated after a long journey. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—always ready to assist with anything we needed, and they truly made us feel at home. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Berlin with easy access to public transport, shops, and iconic sights. Our room was stylish, clean, and very comfortable—everything we expected from the Motel One brand. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Berlin. We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice stay

The stay was pleasant, the rooms were a little compact and quite warm but other than that they were comfortable, it would have been nice if there were some tea and coffee facilities in the room as a minimum
