Overall a good stay in a great location. Staff and front desk were friendly and attentive throughout. The restaurant was satisfactory, although it was disappointing that coffee was charged as an extra. Valet parking was also significantly overpriced, particularly given the somewhat inadequate parking arrangements.

Don’t stay at this hotel on a Friday night if you like sleep. We stayed for 2 nights to finish off our trip to Tasmania before flying home but the hotel is next to/on top of a night club that had live music Friday night that we could hear even in our room on level 8 and less loud music Saturday night. I was going to request to move rooms but read similar reviews where people were moved to the other side of the hotel and it was just as bad so didn’t bother. Check in was quick but dropping the car off for valet at check in meant we had to do a few laps of the block before a space to stop near the hotel was available. Cars are taken off site and you’re asked to give 30mins notice when you wish to use it so just something to keep in mind. The hotel has 3 lifts but one was out of order for the duration of our stay and on two occasions had to open the lift door with our hands when it arrived on ground floor. The room had all the usual things you come to love about a reliable brand and the room was spotless.

Excellent stay, the staff were wonderful and the room was clean and cosy. The location was central and on Sunday the farmers market was right outside. Highly recommend.
