I am a cancer patient and I have been wanting to stay at the Ashore since the property was transformed. I am also an event planner and thought about getting a tour while I enjoyed my stay. I was so disappointed. Restaurants were closed, business room computer equipment not working, was lied to by front desk manager that housekeeping would come and collect trash and give fresh linens, non of which happened. It is very important that I have a clean environment during at this time in my life. Most importantly I chose this hotel for the serenity that it seemed to provide yet I did not have that experience. I found out that non of the rooms have an ocean front view but a "ocean view" which for me meant looking at the side of the condo buildings next door with a "view" of the ocean if you stood at the Juliet balcony. I am not able to stand for long so the positioning of the chairs and bed did not afford me that luxury. I have decided not to recommend this property to any clients because of the way I was treated. I would never allow them to spend any money and be disappointed and disregarded in the way that I was.

We stayed at the resort first week of March celebrating my birthday. Being aware that it is technically off season the resort seemed unprepared for the season.We stayed for a total of three nights, not once did we see housekeeping. The rooms seemed like they were updated but still had the old out dated feel to them. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The restaurant I heard had decent food options but overpriced for a hotel restaurant. Most other amenities were closed. We stayed a the Cambria hotel the first night for same price...should have book all four nights there.

Great place, beautiful, location can’t be beat. The only suggestion is the door into the room was extremely heavy to open and closed very loudly behind it. The rooms look great the doors need addressed though

Great view of the ocean and the bay. The room was dirty. There was trash on the floor, human hairs all over the Bathroom floor and shower walls. The laminate floor was damaged and the floor rug was dirty. It won't let me upload photos.
