When we arrived, we was greeted by the friendly staff which couldn't do enough for you but what they failed to mention was there was there was no heating in some of the rooms? Until we actually went back down to reception and asked them then they made us aware of the situation which was not very good as my partner has a heart problem not to mention some of the party we was with in their 90s. This is why I have given a poor service although when I did complain, I was offered a free drink and a free snack but that doesn't make it right. They should've informed us prior to us going to the room. It was freezing cold when we got there.

Breakfast was very good and we were seated quickly. The room was clean, although the pillows were a bit hard and there were only two towels provided despite there being four of us. All of the staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay. The hotel manager, Richard (I believe), was exceptional. He couldn’t do enough to help and was constantly on the move, supporting different departments. It was genuinely refreshing to see such great, old-fashioned customer service.
