There were protests and people getting drunk and disorderly at all hours in the street. This made it hard to sleep with the windows open at all.

My stay at this hotel was decent, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The hotel itself feels quite dated; many of the facilities and electronic appliances are very old, and it shows. The breakfast was also disappointing—not much variety and not particularly tasty. However, I did appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, as our room was very quiet, which made for a good night’s rest. The staff, on the other hand, was excellent—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their kindness, along with the hotel’s convenient central location, were definite highlights of my stay. Unfortunately, despite the great service and location, I don’t think I’d choose to stay here again.

Hotel ok but location not so good

Nice enough hotel, very clean and rooms at usual Ibis standard. Location not great though if you require to sleep occasionally as too many yobs and drunks doing their best to keep everyone awake at 3am. Not the fault of the hotel of course but still an adverse factor.

Most of the attractions in Bilbao are at a walkable distance from the hotel. Hotel is comfortable and safe.

Staff were very helpful and willing to phone taxis for us. The breakfast for 9.50 euros per person was very good, with plenty of choice. The bathroom could have done with an update but the bed was clean and comfortable.

Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Hotel clean and tidy, with limited facilities. In a reasonable location about 20/25 minute walk to Old Town and Guggenheim. Good breakfast. About 20 minute taxi drive from airport at a cost of E30
