Everything you need for an airport overnight

The hotel was exactly as we expected, but the service was better. The receptionist could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious and had everything you'd expect from a 3 star place. It did need a little touch of paint to spruce it up a bit, but it was nice and clean and comfortable. It was easily reached by bus from Stanstead airport. There is a welcome break station next to it, so has whatever you need. It also has a partnership with the Ramada bext door for breakfast and dinner- which were both really good. In fact, better ghan we expected. Great stay for us.

Room after a flight

We arrived from our flight 01.30, guy on reception was amazing found us a room on the ground floor as my friend can’t manage stairs and I forgot to mention it when I booked our rooms. Room was warm when we arrived, tired decoration, could hear upstairs moving. Beds comfy, linens clean, big shower, towels okay. Would stay again

welcome simple stopover

Excellent, simple stopover when you have a very late arrival into Stansted and a long drive to face. Good value, clean, comfortable room and bathroom facilities. Kettle and with tea and coffee. No frills and short drive from the airport.

Clean, comfortable space

Clean, comfortable space for a quick sleep before a very early flight. Parking was charged at £5 extra as advertised. Easy to find, just off the motorway.

This hotel does its job fine, but the room cleaning this was not great with the runner across the bed being heavily and unpleasantly stained, and also a lot of dark hairs in the bathroom.

If you can, stay away from this horrible hotel

My family and I had a horrible stay here. The hotel is run down, dirty and in desperate need of renovation, or at least some basic maintenance. The rooms were smelly and unkept, but it wasn't even the worst point. One of the rooms that we were given had somebody living there already! Thankfullly the person wasn't there when we opened the door. We went to the reception and explained what happened, and were given another room. This second room was not cleaned after the last check out, there was garbage in the bins, used utensils on the table, the bedding had hairs on it and was not changed. Third time lucky and we got a room that smelled like someone emptied a can of Febreze in it, but we were too tired to argue and went to bed. The guy working at the reception who was responsible for all this mess didn't even say sorry, and was terribly rude and uncaring through out. People like him should not work in jobs like that if they hate hospitality, which he clearly did.

Excellent Short stay

Nice and clean hotel for basic needs - one or two night stay for flights etc. Friendly staff. Changed our room to twin without a problem, it was also a larger family room. The only problem- pillows. Synthetic and hard but then again - I do struggle with pillows in many hotels if they are not real feather pillows.
