Absolutely horrible experience at night No street light was on and the way to the hotel was so scary from bus stop Hotel is In a very isolated place No taxi was booking at night Wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. Well appointed room, comfortable bed, very quiet room. Well stocked bar, and a lovely breakfast. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

Room not cleaned. Basin sink full of water. Taps need a clean. Towel damp looked like someone had wiped hands on it. Mould on wall under table. Very disappointed. Think someone used the room and it was not cleaned for us. Also we were not aware that there was a £5 charge to park car

Possibly the saddest hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. A poky little bathroom, tired furniture. No hand towel. Convenient for the tired little services but nothing else going for it at all.

Great little stopover before an early flight at Stansted. Despite being in the services area, the noise level was negligible. You can eat at the restaurants within the service area, or do what we did and take advantage of the excellent food available at the hotels own restaurant, cooked fresh to order. Great friendly staff. We will return!

Booked two separate rooms, were given two on the second floor and both the rooms didn’t have any heating working in the room - the panel in one room had an error code and in the second room was locked and not useable. When we asked at reception we were told that they were waiting for the company to come back and unlock the panels so they can be used. We were offered extra blankets for the bed - the rooms were both freezing!!! We arrived in time to have a meal, we chose what we wanted to then be told - it wasn’t available as they were having trouble with the suppliers of their Gammon!!! When using the toilet in the reception area - this was broken and didn’t flush. Overall not a good experience and will think again before booking for our next Stansted flight

The rooms werent correct when we got there - we had booked a single and two threes and we ended up in a four and a three, plus i have been charged on return having already paid!!! Went to get the bus at 4.30am and that cant be trusted either, avoid
