Check in was awful due to a huge dance event. They had taken over the place. No rooms clean until after 3.30pm. Day manager was a tad cocky. If i was the manager i wouod have given people a complimentary drink while everyone was waiting for a room. Rooms were full of noise as the walls were so thin. Up until 11.30pm kids were running up and down the cooridors knocking on doors. Luckly i spoke to the night staff manage who was great. He moved us to a quiet area. Room was fine. Felt quite sorry for some of the staff.

We stopped here to have a night in blackpool as next day was golf captains trip to herons reach which was near by. Check in was slow as had to queue to check in and the queue was long. Had a couple of cheeky porettis before we could pick up our room keys which wasnt bad or badly priced. Room was clean with a sea view so no complaints at all about the room. I heard some of the other golfers went to their rooms and they hadnt been cleaned but received a free pint in compensation ! Overall a good experience

Very nice room, plenty of hot water for shower etc. Beds are comfortable & breakfast was excellent. Staff are pleasant and plenty of room for your car. I have no complaints.

Awful place we named it hotel Alcatraz, picture when booking shows nice yellow exterior it's actually black and grey, only saw 2 staff members in the 24 hours we endured this place the barman and the coffee shop worker, I have bruises on my shins from the exposed metal bed frame the pillow was so thick and lumpy I had to take it out of the case and put in two towels so I had something. No toilet paper at all in the room and I couldn't reach anyone so had to get some from my daughter's room. We got there at 7 food wasn't available so we had to go to the local Morrisons for supplies. Do yourself a favour save your money sleep on the beach you will be more comfortable

Lady on reception was amazing, gave great recommendations, bar staff less so. Car parking good-£3 a day, rooms ok, food at restaurants pricey for what it was. Pool facilities good, although not included in the price of the room. Had some noise problems on second night but quick call to reception and security came to sort no further issues. Would stay again if price remains cheap.

The most disgusting and dirtiest hotel that I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Shocking condition of the room we stayed in. Dirty and leaking toilet on arrival, bathroom not cleaned at all, hairs and bath scum still on toss, sink and in bath, damaged step with warning tape stuck over it, rotten and mouldy wood work, unsafe electrical items that had not been PAT tested since JANUARY 2022!!. Poo on the bathroom walls, fire safety doors with 1 1/2 inch gap at the bottom!! So shocking for a large hotel chain. Customer service, Front of House manager really didn’t care !!! Got no where with our complaint, other than a ready printed piece of paper with the complaints email address!! Pre done, ready to go says they get a lot of complaints!!! So I advise before you waste your money, read all the +4000, yes you read correctly, +4000 ONE STAR trust pilot reviews about this hotel!! And if that’s not enough, google the hotel name and it’s all over the internet and newspapers regarding how bad this hotel is. And as for Expedia, I’m sorrry but you are not bothered now you have taken my money, no interest in how bad this hotel is so rest assured, neither yourselves or Britannia Hotel chain will be getting a further penny of my hard earned money in the future.

This stay was not in my opinion a very good one at all the hotel was dirty, the limited staff they had some pleasant some not so much, had to close the amusement off due to machies broke fire doors didnt shut when fire alarms went off this is unsafe, alot of adults and kids screaming in corridors all hours of the night. Bedrooms minimal which was fine for what we needed it for but the bed wow the springs was digging into my back resorted to sleeping on the floor was that bad. Ive stayed here once before and it was not like this i will not return.

The rooms were nothing like the photos. Drab and uncomfortable. We were kept awake until 2.30 in the morning with unruly neighbours. Security had to come and give them warnings. Would not encourage anyone to visit until the whole hotel has had an facelift.

It was okay, wouldnt stay there again though. The room was filthy and the bed had more bumps than the pebble beach! They state on the app that you will get room cleaned and fresh towels everyday but this didnt happen, everything we needed even tea, coffee etc we had to go to reception for which was a mile away from our room!

After reading the reviews about the Norbreck we were a bit dubious about our stay, glad we decided to see for ourselves, everything was what we wanted, we tried to extend our booking but after the receptionist tried his best there was nothing available. On our return home we got booked in for the following week
