Clean very small room. Shower in a very high spa bath- very dangerous for older travelers. Ate next door in The Bank very nice & lovely staff. Didn’t partake of breakfast as $30 a head a bit steep

A beautiful property in a beautiful setting - the gardens are gorgeous. We appreciated the EV charging station. We really enjoyed our stay One very minor issue - they didn't accept electronic credit card imprint upon check-in - only plastic.

The Carrington is a beautiful old hotel that has seen better days. It is getting worn out. You have to battle the lift to get on it, the floors and stairs creak ominously. We booked dinner reservations for their lovely dining room but they were not necessary-only 6 other people were seated/eating while we were there. The location may have something to do with this. It is my understanding that Katoomba was once a lovely town, but it also has seen better days. My suggestion is to stay and visit nearby Laura.
