Poor Service - Lack of Accountability

The service was slow and dismissive in addressing a menu discrepancy. After initially disputing the issue, the waiter confirmed the mistake after a long delay. When my wife expressed frustration, the manager intervened but, instead of honoring my request to have the food boxed, took it away entirely. Despite this, we were still charged half the price because I had eaten nearly half while waiting for a resolution. This response only added to the frustration. Better customer service and fairer resolution practices are needed. The service and communication were disappointing throughout our stay. After reporting the restaurant issue and our frustration to the front desk the next morning, we were told we would receive a response, but no follow-up ever came. Additionally, I reported mold in the bathroom with photo evidence and informed them we would be away for a few hours, hoping for a resolution. Again, there was no response. Ultimately, we checked out on Sunday morning feeling completely disregarded and disappointed. Improved communication and accountability are necessary.

We loved the pool area, plenty of seating and lounge chairs, there’s a poolside bar with drinks and food. The room was clean, beds were nice. The room was in desperate need of paint and wallpaper in the bathroom, both were peeling and chipping. There are no elevators in the buildings. We went to the clubhouse for lunch, never even saw wait staff, sat there for 15 minutes and left. The only other real negative was the noise from the room above us. It went on until almost 2am, no answer from the front desk when I tried to call. Other than that, it’s a nice property, the front desk person (John) was very helpful and friendly.

Great resort, they catered really well to family with small children. They had bouncy houses set up with karaoke night on the patio, pool area was fun with the waterslide. Definitely coming back over here. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful stay in hill country

Beautiful grounds located in hill country just outside Boerne. It was so peaceful here. They had tons of activities planned for the kids (and adults) for Spring Break. The amenities were really good. We spent a lot of time at the pool. In the evenings, grab a smores kit from the front desk and find one of the many fire pits around the grounds to roast your marshmallows.

Nice stay. The food and service from the American style restaurant was excellent. I really enjoyed the live bands they had. A bunch of cool activities for kids including a resort style pool with huge slide, different fun contests and games like watermelon eating contest and dodgeball. Like others have said, the rooms could use some updating but all in all pretty nice! The bed was super comfy. I also enjoyed the patio off of the living area. So peaceful out there. I would stay again!

The property has a beautiful setting and the onsite restaurant was good; however, our room was outdated and unsafe. Due to a freak accident with the old slider to our balcony, we got locked out in the cold. It took approx 30 minutes for maintenance to open our exterior room door and unlock the balcony to rescue us. Rooms have a front door on the exterior rather than an interior hallway as I had expected. We were on the second floor so we had to lug our bags up and down stairs to get to our room. Overall a disappointing experience and I would not recommend, nor would I return.

The room was nicely decorated for the ambience, however, the sinks, sink counters and shower mixing valves were old. Those need to be renovated. The mini bar are also needed to be updated, the mini dorm refrigerator should be incorporated into the case work to be more appealing to the eye.!
