Great if you need a clean dark room and sleep

I love this place when traveling and just tired with a need for a dark room and sleep. Room is clean,AC WORKS, shower Is funky but my 3rd time here

I was disappointed with the cost of the hotel considering it was a very small and old room. My sheet had a small brown stain on it. (The sheet smelled clean) The maids should have noticed when making the bed because it was right where you sleep - below the pillow area. The floor had a sticky spill on it about the size of a small bowl. It wasn't cleaned. I noticed it when walking from my bed to the bathroom when I stepped it in barefooted. Also the hotel claimed to have the best pool for Meridian. Maybe so, but it wasn't cleaned well and the was cracking.

Got there at 12:00 to see if they could check us in early so we could rest our Special need athlete for Special Olympics and their internet was down. Therefore, they couldn't tell if they had a room ready OR make room keys! She had no idea when it would be fixed. We waited almost an hour and decided to find another hotel. They called me back at 3:30 to let me know they could check me in and I told them I went to another hotel and would probably not book at their hotel again since they were unprepared for a technology issue. I would like my money back but the cancellation policy won't allow it EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT MY FAULT THAT I COULDN'T CHECK IN.

My family had car breakdown 2 hours away, were stranded and could not check in or stay the first night. I called hotel and front desk gent said unless I checked them in for the first night - we would lose the reservation. I told him over the phone - to check them in. Second day they rented a car and arrived - the manager would not check them in nor would she let us change the name to one of their names for check in. All 3 of my adult daughters told me that the female manager was rude and dismissive. And they refused a refund despite the car mishap, and the name difference issue. Very disappointed in the managment

Pool was closed for the foreseen future. Only reason we chose this place was for the pool. Wouldn't refund our money so we could go next door to theirs. Employee actually suggested go to a different hotel and just walk in and use their pool.

The pictures show a decent hotel for a quick weekend away and then you show up to what looks like an outdated motel 6. Sounds like if you upgraded to one of their “suites,” you could get some modern features but that was definitely not advertised. The pictures of the seasonal pool are highly exaggerated and someone should be paid extra for the angles they were able to capture to make it look anything more than the oversized spa size it was. No reviews of that because it was closed but we only found that out after check in. Only plus side is that the beds were nice and comfy.

Initally we were denied access to check in because I forgot my ID (my bad) we stated that we could change the reservation to my husbands name (same last name) easily. The Front Desk staff (Jay) was very helpful and said that should not be a problem. As soon as the words came out of his mouth a manager came around out of the back room and stated that it was too late to make that change and we were out of luck. I offered to get a photo copy of my ID and still get the reservation change but was told that since it was through a 3rd party site we

When we were checking in there was a family in front of us that was asking for another room because their room smelled. The front desk was telling them they could not give them another room. I’m not sure why because the hotel was definitely not full. Our room did not smell. It was clean. Old but clean. They served breakfast but we didn’t want to even check that out because of the conditions of the hotel. We did not use the shower. It just didn’t look right. We were booked for two nights but left after the first night and took our losses.
