Friendly staff. But I wouldn’t recommend staying there for more than one night unless you absolutely have to. You get what you pay for. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the sheets were stained. The hallways smelled absolutely awful. The breakfast was gross.

The TV didn't work, and when I called, I was told it would be a while before anybody could come up, they never showed up. Also, the bathroom light was like a strobe light and caused a headache. So we were unable to shower

I would not recommend the Super 8 at all based on the experience I had. They charged my account directly without my authorization, even though I had already booked and paid through Hotels.com. I had to chase them for a refund, and thankfully the Hotels.com team stepped in and resolved the issue for me. Besides the billing problems, the stay itself was also disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable and extremely loud, the room had a strong unpleasant smell when we arrived, and the front desk lady was not friendly or helpful. When I asked her about the extra charges, she refused to answer my questions and kept telling me to call Hotels.com—despite the fact that Super 8 were the ones who charged my card. Overall, I will not be staying at Super 8 again. For just a few dollars more, I can choose a hotel that is more reputable, cleaner, and provides better customer service.

I booked one night for 10/22. I was told I booked two nights. I talked it over with my partner and we decided to stay for two nights and paid for two nights.10/23 I received a text to check out. I spoke to the receptionist who insisted I only had reservations for one night. She stated there were two Heidi’s and our reservations got mixed up. She insisted I had to pay or check out, her manager would straighten it out. I paid for the night, so paid twice for 10/23. Here is my interaction with the manager. She did not look at me, harshly stated, check your bank, you were already refunded, and walked away. Everyone knows that refunds. on credit cards are not instant. I contacted Hotels.com. Still no refund. The manger at the Boise Super 8 stole $80.00 from me. I bet she sleeps well stealing from customers. Perhaps, Karma will get her.

Worst hotel stay ever. After booking 6 nights through Expedia for a 2-queen room in Boise, I tried to change to a king bed due to my daughter canceling. Although 8 king rooms were shown available online, the hotel refused any changes, citing a strict "no change" policy through Expedia, and demanded full payment if canceled. The front desk said the cancellation fee was 100%, and no partial refund or room switch was allowed.After calmly explaining this to the staff, I accepted the queen room. But the next morning, the hostile hotel manager called at 6:54 AM accusing me of threatening negative reviews, hung up on me during the call, and refused to provide contact info for regional management. Feeling unsafe due to the manager's aggression, my wife and I checked out and booked another hotel for the remaining 5 nights. The hotel insisted I pay for all 6 nights with no refund. The manager sarcastically said "have a good day" as we left. This whole ordeal was caught on hotel video.I lost over $400 due to the no-refund policy enforced because of the manager’s hostility and lack of customer service. Despite remaining calm and respectful throughout, I will never stay at Wyndham or Super 8 again. This was a terrible customer experience aggravated by unhelpful policies and an aggressive manager.
