Air conditioning was out. Room was 89 degrees and we were told this 'happens' and is normal. Only solution was a 6inch fan. Had to cancel reservation and rebook at 9:30 at night. No support or help. Really poor experience

The property itself was fine and the staff were all very nice, but our room would NOT go under 82 degrees. We called the desk and they claimed they hadn’t switched over their HVAC for the season. The room still did not go under 81 with the heat turned off. They delivered a fan, which barely helped since you can only open the window 2 inches. The hallways and lobby were cool so it seems the room HVAC just wasn’t functioning properly. Multiple people complained during our stay but weren’t offered a solution other than a fan. We were glad to get out of there.

I booked a suite for 10 nights (visiting family for the holidays). It fronted the highway and exit ramp. Very noisy, especially the night it snowed with plow-trucks all night. I booked this using non-refundable, thinking I couldn't cancel prior to arrival, however since I couldn't sleep I changed hotels. The hotel manager was fine with me checking out early, however after a lot of effort on my part, Expedia refunded me only a portion of the days in which I was not there. More disappointed with Expedia than the hotel.

Restaurant has limited menu for diner as well as available time. Additionally, there were no nearby restaurants outside the hotel, so I had to drive out again to find dinner.

Disappointing

Parking was expensive and in a public lot (they didn't tell you that). To park or retrieve your car at night was not great. No one to help with bags. Not quite clear about the food--not much of any in evidence. Staff who we did interact with were lovely.

This is a nice hotel located a short walk from the Alewife T and an easy train ride to Harvard, Cambridge and MIT. It is in the midst of a new biotech office park. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. I did not try the food at the hotel. Good place if you want a bit of a quiet zone outside the city center. Room was very clean and well appointed. Parking is 25 bucks a night. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again if driving to Boston and unwilling to face center city Boston traffic.

The hotel was very far away from everything, making public transportation or delivery more expensive. The hotel was clean and easy to navigate. The crowd was very young, as in a bunch of high school or mid teen aged children. Lounges were full of kids and the bar was next to the lounges. I didn't enjoy sitting at the bar with so many children around. I believe this was a normal occurrence for schools to book this hotel. The wall were pretty thin, I could hear the neighbors television and voices and the doors slammed. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was great. The rainfall shower head was nice but the water pressure was lacking.
