Overall pleasant, average hotel stay. The garage parking option is weird, and confusing to find when you first arrive. The parking is underneath the hotel with parking being a separate cost.

The day of check-in was ownership change. The transition was handled poorly by management. I was charged an extra $321 with no explanation other than “we just switched systems and we’re trying to figure it out”. Spoke to front desk the day prior to checkout and I was assured it would be taken care of. On check out day the charge was not handled and it remains pending. This is not ok.

The property was ok. The AC in my room was broken so we didn’t get much sleep the first night. I told the front desk worker in the AM and they sent someone to fix it. It stopped working again that night. I called the front desk several times and the phone was busy. I was irritated because I had to walk down to let them know. Someone from the front desk fixed it, but then it wouldn’t shut off when the room got too cold. The room didn’t have an outside window, so it made me feel a little claustrophobic when the room was hot. Other than that the location was great, lots of shops within walking distance and the train was right outside the from the hotel.

The property is clean and the rooms are good. The bad thing about this hotel is the administration. I am still getting charges even though I paid in advance. I spoke to the front desk to try to fix the charges everyday while staying at the hotel. I hope they correct all of that because it’s just unacceptable that they don’t know what they are doing. So I won’t recommend because you don’t want to deal with those headaches.

Everything was excellent, but beware that “No View” rooms don’t have a window. This seems obvious, but it’s worth considering that paying a little extra might be worth it to wake up normally.

Great shared spaces that have a communal vibe. The rooms only have internal windows. The booking process is also like giving up all your private info which seems unnecessary. The front desk staff were great!

Hell of a corridor!

Reasonably priced hotel, beautifully comfy beds and exceptionally convenient for tram to centre of Boston (15 mins). Only complaint was that we were given a room (137) at the end of a very, very long corridor, quite a trek from Reception - it was, in fact, one tram stop away! It was possible to leave but not enter from a door nearer our room! No tea/coffee facilities in room so had to walk to Reception to carry a drink back.Just about every other room on that corridor was empty so no idea why anyone thought this was a good idea 🙄 In spite of this, we had a good stay and the complementary breakfast was very welcome. I would definitely stay again but would contact the hotel in advance regarding room position.

The pictures are not accurate to this hotel. The rooms are run down. There was no chromecast in our room and the AC was broken. Contacting the front desk was only available thru the app which they responded quickly but problems were not fixed. There is no overnight parking which forces you to pay $45 a night for parking. Did not enjoy this property at all.

The Arcadian

The room was nice but the toilet was very low to the ground and didn't flush well. We had to flush several times every time we used it. Another thing we found odd was all the rooms, at least on the first floor, had no windows to the outside. The only windows were to the hallway. Other than that, it's a nice hotel, clean, cool decor, and everyone was friendly.
