Wonderful place to stay near Auckland Airport

First thing you look forward to is hospitality and welcoming spirit. I got them both in bundles and the place is kept clean, tidy and quiet, best in time of relaxation. Beds are comfortable in typical good sized ensuite rooms, of real quality and value for money. Proximity to the airport and Auckland City makes it a fantastic place to stay.

Their was a wasp nest outside of our slide door, The food was below average, my darlene didn't even get chips with his seafood platter, fish tasted weird. My soup tasted like it came out of a can. And we couldnt sleep because we could hear burn outs or loud cars all night. We actually asked another guy on the bus if he could hear it too and he said he could. Im a bit pissed i stayed at your hotel when every other hotel looked way nicer than yours.

There was no way to lock the fort from the inside there had been a chain but that was broken off. Felt a bit unsafe. Basic and clean but tired accommodation.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately the place does look dated but in saying that, updating costs money. The important things to me are helpful, pleasant staff, a clean well functioning room and safety.

It’s easy to get there on the yellow bus. But when we entered our room it smelt like stinky feet. Some more detail to cleaning would be good aswell as sheets had stains.
