Great place to stay for downtown Boston. Lots of great sights to see that are very walkable from the hotel. And if you just feel like staying in, the bar and bar area have a very good vibe. The rooms are cozy, and the staff accommodated my early check-in. You get way more value for your $$ here.

A few of the ataff membera were rude. I complained to management also my bill on sight was different from the receipt. They read my emails but refuse to respond about the corecction. A simple response would help. Frustrated....

Wormhole

The customer service at Moxy Boston could be some of the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. If you don’t like people, you probably shouldn’t work as a bartender or in guest services at a hotel. With so many other hotel options in the theater district, do yourself a favor and skip this wormhole.

The rooms are small with too many furniture's. I had to request another room with hassle from the from desk agent. In 3 occasions employees were rude to me which I mentioned to management and they didnt seem to care. It was not worth the trip... Frustrated

Great Boston Visit

While rooms are quite small, they are delightfully decorated . Centrally located and close to Emerson College where we were visiting. The only down side was there was a rally outside at 2am and luckily we were on the 20th floor and did not hear as much as those on lower floors. Otherwise really amazing stay!

Do not stay here temp controlled rooms

Unfortunately the Moxie does not let you know that it is a temperature controlled room and I have COPD so I cannot sleep unless the temperature is under 62° unfortunately their temperature is set at 66° in every room so this was the worst day of my life I think that it should be mandatory that they post that their temperature controlled rooms could be a problem for people with health problems honestly I would like a full refund I believe that this was the worst day I’ve ever had I was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been And I don’t even know who to go to with it because nobody wants to hear it everyone has someone else to blame I’ve never been more let down by a hotel in my life

Enjoyed it!

The view is incredible. Noisy outside at times but I sleep heavy so it wasn't an issue for me. Love the look of the hotel as well. Really unique and fun. Food we didn't try but would if they'd be open to more kid friendly options.

That wasn’t pizza.

I don’t know what it was, but they used super thin crust and put toppings on it to approximate a pizza…but that wasn’t it - all burnt. If you need a slice, I suggest New York Style Pizza less than a block away heading up to the Common.
