Listen: We didn't get late checkout AND our bathroom wasn't very clean. You could tell they have just been cleaning it quickly for a while because there was some dirt in the corners both on the floor and on the counter. I wasn't going to say anything about it BUT when we asked for a late checkout at 1:00 because we were going to a funeral. The lady at the desk said "No, I'm sorry but we have to get in there to clean." I can live with a half-clean bathroom, but it made me mad that I couldn't get a last checkout because Hilton has to clean, when clearly it wasn't cleaned all that well for us. Let me be clear that I think this is more on the lady at the front desk than the poor folks who have to clean the rooms. She should have loosened up a bit. (We were quite lucky and found a decent bathroom by the Boston Harbor to change into our funeral clothes.)

We were charged an additional $276.11 for our stay. When asked why the front desk said our hotels.com payment had not been processed. Both charges came out of our account and no one is willing to help resolve our issue.

Better Customer Service

This was a short stay! Came from NC to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The location of the room was convenient as it was CLOSE to the highway. The cost was also reasonable for a 3 night stay. HOWEVER the check in process was AWFUL. The individual who checked us in was RUDE. The reservation was booked under my married name. He asked for my driver’s license and the last name was my maiden name. I’ve NEVER had an issue, yet this individual questioned several time about my identity even AFTER I shouted I him additional identification to verify I was the person who reserved the room. After all was said and done he threw my driver’s license back to me and proceeded to say “this is the name on the reservation!” It was unnecessary, another worker did come out and handle the situation. The room was clean, yet the walls are VERY thin. You can literally hear EVERYTHING.

Had a very nice overnight at this hotel. Easy location to get to, nice staff, clean and spacious rooms. Decor was a bit basic but fine. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker.

The location was good for us as it is fairly near the train station. It made getting into Boston easy. The staff was absolutely amazing! We will stay here when we visit in the future and will recommend to friends.

Very slow check-in - agent was on the phone too long. Everything seemed OK when we got to the room. But, the AC fan was very loud, sounding like grinding-rubbing all night. Then in the AM, no vent fan in bathroom and the shower head leaked so badly it flooded the small bathroom. When I used extra towels to clean ip, they came away filthy from mopping the floor. Plus, there were many foreign short black hairs everywhere - we are blonde, long haired. The breakfast area was not very clean and poorly stocked. Do not recommend this hotel.

Newer owner; a fine job making it better than previously. Very clean, a bit of a minimalist in terms of design and fancy stuff, but certainly OK. Free breakfast was cereal, juices, coffee, various bagels and muffins.
