This is an older establishment so the room was much smaller than expected. It is in a super location so we had easy access to downtown.

Parking anywhere is a nightmare. Finally found a parking lot down by the wharf, but no back access to the Inn. Parking at the lot was $20 ever time we left to travel somewhere. View from room was excellent!

The Rum Runner Inn is conveniently located on the Main Street of Lunenberg near all the shopping, restaurants and waterfront activities. The room was comfortable although the bathroom products seemed a bit institutional. The veranda in the back of building is a lovely place to drink coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

This is an older quaint hotel that has had some upgrades. Not fancy. Limited hotels in Lunenberg and this one provides good accommodation in a very central location.

From the moment we arrived, the inn was top notch! They showed us to our room and showed us the lovely balcony that overlooked the bay and encouraged us to use it- we did! The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The location was right in the middle of lovely Lunenburg. So glad we booked here!

Clean, quiet & great location!

Friendly, fast and efficient check in! The front desk staff was so friendly, informative and helpful. Our room was clean, bed comfortable and location perfect to walk downtown on the marina to eat, drink & enjoy. Parking is a bit tight, busy area with metered parking, but we found a spot easy & it’s not pricey. Only metered until 5pm & we checked out in the morning before having to pay again. Someone parked behind us had a parking ticket, and it was only $10. Parking is free on nearby (steep hill) side streets.

The biggest shortcoming is the lack of parking. There is none - only on-street parking which is very congested. It made for a difficult arrival as we had to park some distance away (up a very steep hill) and carry our luggage back to the facility

1. Second floor room no elevator. Disabled senior had to climb stairs. Her senior husband had to carry suitcases up stairs. 2. Unable to unpack. No drawers, shelves, hangers or closets. 3. No shades or curtains for south facing windows or skylights.
