Upon arriving learned that most of the better rooms were given away to a wedding party, so while overall the room was okay, it was boiling hot because of overheating. I had to eventually request for a fan in the room. The cleaning was average at best. I could see black muck in the toilet, upon wiping it with a disinfectant wipe it actually came off. The next day the glasses were kept the same way with the cover on only to find out they hadn’t been replaced as my medicine could still be seen in the bottom of the glass. We had booked the double occupancy large king room with breakfast. Upon checking out was told that we had to pay for the breakfast. Here I think Hotels.com has failed. Overall, the location is great surrounded by a lot of nature. The property has character but is in need of serious upkeep and renovation, even though the rates were not cheap.

Enjoyed our stay here. Really nice and clean. Staff were helpful and accommodating with requests. Superior room was a good size. Breakfast options were great, especially for vegetarians. Food overall was really good. Would definitely recommend.

Jamie is excellent in front of house Sergio works hard in the bar & his banter makes for a jovial relaxed atmosphere. Special thanks to him for recommending a tasty wine. Me and my Fiancée recently had the pleasure of staying at Forest Park Country Hotel, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by stunning countryside that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and full of charm, with thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the overall atmosphere. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between comfort and elegance, making it a place where you immediately feel at home. Whether for a quiet getaway, a special occasion, or simply to enjoy the surrounding countryside, Forest Park Country Hotel is an absolute gem. I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
