Nice hotel only a few minutes walk from the city centre. The hotel parking was full, but the underground parking for the city centre was close, safe and cheap. The staff was very helpful and were able to recommend and reserve a nice place for us for dinner. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, and good quality food for the price.

Fantastic hotel

Amazing stay here at this fantastic hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the hotel is beautifully decorated. Lovely swimming pool and great facilities. We will definitely be returning here if we visit Bruge again

Convenient Hotel

Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the main square. Huge 24/7 car park close by. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and a nice pool too. Only negative is the price of breakfast where it is cheaper to eat out, in an expensive city. Would recommend.

What a fabulous hotel! We loved it! Excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff who were ever-present but not intrusive. Really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and very high quality. Lovely pool. Great bar. Hotel was spotlessly clean but retained character. Our family room was gorgeous!! We will definitely be back as soon as we can!!

The hotel is decent and as expected. The pool was better than I expected. They put us in a very cold room and it was situated near the parking lot so I would have liked a better location of the room. Room was smaller than expected. Not sure if other rooms are bigger but I felt short changed on the actual room. The location of the hotel is outside of the main tourist area but that’s not a negative. Bruges is very small and walkable. Staff was courteous and professional.

Grand Hotel Normandy is located on a large street in Brugge, fairly close to the Brugge Convention Center (BMCC). It is an old hotel with dated rooms and facilities. The room smells old as soon as you enter. Ours had a pillar in the middle of the room and an old squeaky cupboard that barely held together. The small safety cabinet located inside it could not accommodate a laptop and was not fastened in place. The room was clean with a very large bed and an excellent mattress. I prefer a hard mattress while my wife a softer one; this mattress somehow worked for both of us! The room came with a modern spacious bathroom. Oddly, the small sink was placed right under a large shelf; you either hit your head or you did not use the sink. Room service was spotty. The reception staff was absolutely amazing, all smiles and very helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of items that should satisfy any taste and need. The pool was very nice and clean. Overall, this hotel was not worth the money.

The hotel was one of the best I've stayed at! It was a 5-10 minute walk from all of the restaurants and attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side but it had all of the amenties we needed. I would definitely recommend the Grand Normandy Hotel.

We visited early March, and although the room was spacious and clean, it was very cold. We realized that the heating cannot be adjusted from the room. After going to reception, they confirmed that they will turn the heating on. Even after that, our family of 4 were freezing all night. We noticed the heating was on, but after a while after it was turned off. For the price we paid, it was unpleasant to sleep in a freezing room. The breakfast was good.

Great stay - friendly and helpful staff, lovely large bedrooms, delicious hotel breakfasts, swimming pool - not too far from the centre of Bruges and near Zan Square with lots of restaurants. Definitely recommend for a stay in Bruges.
