Lackluster, drab hotel. Room was on first floor looking out at parking lot. Strange things like door being hard to open/close because rubbed on below carpet, thermostat that required a college degree to figure out, a strange luminescent blue light under the bathroom sink, no luggage stand, cold lighting throughout the room, switches in weird spots. Breakfast very average. I should have asked for a room with a better view

We booked this as a stop over which is what this hotel is, I wouldn’t say it’s a four star. The buffet restaurant was awful but you can use the downstairs restaurant which was much better.

As usual the staff and hotel were awesome especially as the power in Te Anau had been off for over 24hrsdue to the storms and just came back on as we arrived. They were fantastic under pressure. A+++ to all at the hotel.

We had three night here and while the room was clean, comfortable and spacious it was very dated. The whole hotel felt a little old. For the nightly price they are charging I would have expected something a little more modern. Having said that the included breakfast is great and the location is very continent to walk to plenty of cafes and restaurants.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Incredible Stay! I stayed here with my two little kids and we had such a great time! The staff were absolutely amazing—so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Travelling solo with young kids can be tough, but they went out of their way to make things easy and comfortable for us. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. A special shoutout to the breakfast and restaurant team — the food was delicious and the staff were incredible with the kids. It really made a big difference to our mornings! We’ll 100% be staying here again.

Room was ok, bed super comfy. We were given fresh towels but toilet wasn't cleaned, bed wasn't made and we had to ask for toilet paper. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom but nowhere to hang your toilet bag. Only 2 coat hangers in the wardrobe. Reception staff were lovely.
