The main pool and hot tub were open, but young kids, often unattended, were in the hot tub almost everytime we used it, day or evening. The pool with swim up bar was closed completely for renovation, and we were without water for several hours 2 or 3 days of our stay. We were offered a discount on our parking, which was nice, but considering we upgraded to a junior suite room it would have been nice if they offered free parking, or breakfast pass. The grounds behind our suite were nice, but not private at all. It actually was a public park with random people walking past our room that weren't guests of The Dana.

The pool and hot tub were closed for construction we were not able to use the lanai due to noise. We would not have paid the extra money for the lanai if we would have known this prior to booking. How can Expedia avoid this from havening in the future. A refund for the lanai would be appreciated

By far the best self contained, option filled property in San Diego! This was accidentally my 4th stay in a matter of weeks. Thanks to Team Members like: Lisa, Nicole, Valerie and All the Team Members I failed to mention by name, turned my "stays" into a stress-free sanctuary of A , 5 Star service on every level! I truly hope on my next visit I can enjoy all the amenities and conveniences Dana has to offer. I know from the smiles of other guest's returning from activities to the tranquil faces of those at the beautiful pool area, and my own enjoyment of their off the chart food prep...Dana has something for everyone who believe that Guest Service means Guest Service! Thank you so much!

During my stay, a wedding was held right outside my room. Unfortunately, the music was loud, and guests were disruptive until 2-3 AM. I called the front desk and mentioned this to the staff the next day, but they just apologized and did nothing for me. They refused to move my room. Also, I had to have the plumber come out and fix the shower that was not working.

This property is not any better than a cheap hotel has all the same things and it's not worth paying for the view and the location it's a waste of money when you can stay in a hotel that's half the price and cheaper with all the same things

Had come to visit my son, just me , and I felt very safe and the Staff were amazing! Friendly and helpful. I upgraded my room to have a lania but did not use it once thought I would be able to use tropical pool( 4 steps away ) but it unfortunately was closed. But overall a great stay 😍
