Amazing gem of a hotel

We wouldn’t stay anywhere else than the Ter Brugge in Brugge, we have stayed quite a few times now and we are regulars to the hotel. This hotel is one of a kind that is why we always chose to go back. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and will do anything for you, the bed is world class and so comfy, the location is perfect and with it being by the side of the canal is so picturesque, the hotel just has so much Brugge charm that we love. We couldn’t recommend the Ter Brugge enough for how amazing it is. Until next time Ter Brugge !!!

I loved the age of the building, dating in parts from 1470, and fitting in with the historical architecture and atmosphere of Bruges. My spacious room overlooked the canal, which was a treat. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre and a perfect base for exploration on foot. The breakfast buffet selection is excellent. All the staff members I met were extremely helpful and friendly.

Absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely come back. The room was spacious and adorable. It even had these massive windows that opened up. The room was literally by the water and the view of the canal from the room was stunning. The shower was great too. They have complimentary hot chocolate in the room as well. And during check out, they give you some complimentary chocolate cookies! Since it was cold outside I asked if the heating could be increased. They gave me a portable heater and it was great! Only downside is that there is no elevator. Thankfully I was on the first floor!

Thank you to the hotel staff for my stay with my parents there. The front desk was always ready to help and attentive which is great when you are a tourist. It is a clean hotel , even that doesn’t have an elevator the front desk helped me with my luggage . Thank you for our stay and is well recommended .

Charming hotel

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The property itself has an old-world charm that makes it feel unique and welcoming. While the rooms are a bit dated, they’re well-maintained and add to the character of the place. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which I always appreciate when traveling. I also liked that they allow you to store your bags after check-out, which was very convenient. The location is excellent—an easy walk to the city center, with plenty to explore nearby. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with good service and a central location.

Our family of 7 loved this hotel. Quaint, well located and charming. It would have been really nice if there was an elevator for those who were staying on 3rd floor but that is probably too much to expect from a building that is so old. The canal location within walking distance of the Christmas market, museums, restaurants, etc. was truly fantastic.

Beautiful stay, exceptional staff!

I would stay a million times over. The building is beautiful & they have decorated all its little quirks to give it a warm and welcoming feel without clutter. It has such an indivisible feel and we felt right at home straight away. The staff are excellent in customer service but also in general as helpful and fun as you’d want. They provide a map and at advice you might need and a warm chat when you get back. The rooms are clean and stylishly decorated, note there’s no lift if you have mobility issues but no worries for us. The bed was simply fantastic and the bathroom well presented. I would like a shower head holder at head height but that’s being very British of me! The breakfast is worth all the comments made!! I loved it. It’s so well thought out and put together, there’s something for everyone and it’s kicks off the day well! The walk to the market square is max 7 mins very flat and this is basically central. I will be coming back to Bruges and 100% plan to stay there again. Thanks to the team for such a nice stay.
