Room was clean, comfortable, very nice. Beds were very comfortable as was the pillows and linens. Great breakfasts. Whoever was on desk when we checked in Friday evening went above and beyond my expectations to ensure our comfort all evening long- I wish I'd gotten her name. Housekeeping very professional and helpful I was juggling a large breakfast tray and they very kindly let me in my room instead of me having to juggle everything to get key to get in( it's these little things people don't notice that count- like the dietary kitchen getting me a tray when I was struggling to take our breakfast to room) I travelled with my 16 yr old dog and I couldn't leave her alone long enough to eat in dining room. I always stay at Hampton Inn if there is one near where I need it.

Elevator did not work upon our arrival. Carried luggage up 3 flights of stairs! Was fixed the next morning🙌😊
Very clean! Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was more than I thought it would be. Not far from shopping, restaurants, beach! We will stay here again!
Stay was good, room and hall had a stale scent which did not affect the overall stay. The hot tub was out of order which was a bummer for my kids but did not affect overall stay. Would stay again here!

The breakfast was decent. There was just enough parking at the site. Rooms are small; carpet was not clean. Staff was however responsive; they got an issue in bathroom fixed quickly. So, I rated it as an average property.

The water went out at 10AM. We were not notified, they couldn't tell us anything about a repair ETA and they still charged us for that day/night
The hotel was ok and nice, but I've stayed in better Hampton Inns. We were traveling with our service dog and I'm not sure if the room we were given is normally given to people with service animals, but there was a musty, dirty dog like odor in the room. It was not great. I keep our small service dog clean at all times since I am susceptible to odors as well as my daughter. Even though we have a dog, she is hypoallergenic and well groomed as to not have that "dog" smell. If the case is that this hotel mostly puts customers witj service animals in this particular room, they need to do a better job of cleaning afterwards.
We are so impressed with Hampton Inn St Simons Island. It was very clean, quiet and met our needs. The staff was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the hot breakfast as well. We have found our new home away from home. 5 stars all the way!
