Location was great, room was as expected. Breakfast was just OK--could have had a bit more variety, and I was very disappointed that no tea was available, as I don't drink coffee and all they had was coffee or some chicory drink. The front desk staff was hit or miss--one friendly guy and another somewhat surly guy.

Small rooms, but fine if you just want a base.

The rooms are fairly small, but for our kind of holidays that’s fine the bed was comfortable and big enough for two friends to share. We lost a friend whose phone had broken and she got lost, and the staff were very helpful and supportive. All good in the end.

Best bed i had in over two weeks in Europe. While walkable from MIDI train station, you have to walk through a huge 3rd world flea market, even the train conductor repeatedly warned of pickpockets. Limited selections in restaurant, but breakfast was good. Liked the hotel a lot more than Brussels.

Had a great stay at La Grande Cloche, the room and bathroom was really nice and we had a lovely view. Everything was clean and modern. It’s on a square with food and drink options and it’s very easy to walk to the main squares. I visit Brussels a lot and I always stay in this area due to its convenient access to both city centre and the eurostar.

Room was small, but clean. Location was good. The hotel could definitely use some renovations and soundproofing, but it was still a fine place to stay.
