Great hotel

Great hotel in the tourist area. Friendly staff. We booked this hotel because it had a restaurant. But it was only open for breakfast whilst we were there. No notices posted in the lobby, or advanced emails.

The staff were all very nice. The room was very nice, clean and big. We had a pleasant stay. I was leaning more to give is a five star rating but there were two two things to mention here - 1) It's on a pedestrian street where vehicles are prohibited and taxis or Uber can't come. Therefore, they drop you about 40-You have to drag your luggage 40-50 yards and call Uber or Taxi from the roadside where vehicles are permitted. 2) The room had an electric kettle but there was no coffee, sugar, creamer in the room. On being asked, we were told that they don't provide these things. These things are taken for granted in US hotels, and this being part of a US hotel chain, we had expected it to be there but was not the case. Yes, they do have a restaurant and one could order coffee through room service, but we have always found that by the time room service coffee it arrives it is not hot enough, just lukewarm and we don't like that. Except for these two issues, it was a very nice stay.
