The room was nicely decorated and clean, the bathroom was also spotless. The staff member who checked us in was pleasant and explained everything. We were at a local event so were later back, no issues with noise as mentioned by others, the pub closes at 11pm. Perfect for a stay in Burnham.
Excellent spot with all the convenience of the bar and restaurant and close by options too. Breakfast was just right. All staff were brilliant.

The staff were engaging and tried their best. One of the reasons for us choosing the hotel was the photos that showed a Nespresso machine in the rooms, as we like decent coffee. This is not true. The staff know nothing about this and they provide some coffee bags (which was not good). The mattress needs replacing and the bed is so low.
There's lots to like about The Ship Inn. Great location, characterful rooms, friendly staff, great bar and restaurant food. There's clearly a concern for good ingredients for the bar/restaurant food. So why not for guests who are staying overnight? The local bread served in the bar is fabulous - so why serve cardboard bread for breakfast along with cheap, sugary yoghurt and cereals. Weak coffee from coffee bags? We stayed 2 nights and didn't bother stopping for breakfast on the second day.

The heating didn’t work for two nights. Was freezing. The TV’s didn’t work. I’m 60 and 6 foot 2 the first room I was given had a sunken bed and a 4ft height to enter.
After Walking up from a funeral I stopped at the bar to get a drink to warm myself. I was snapped at are you having breakfast? Not would you like a drink. The fire alarm went off and I was asked to go check if my room was on fire. I have never stayed anywhere SO unwelcoming
We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). The continental breakfast was a prefect start to the day. Thank you.

Really nice place. Very nicely decorated, lovely room, clean, good food and friendly staff.
Such wholesome lovely pub with rooms. Will return!
Fantastic selection of pint on offer. The stout was class. Amazing they had a 3 course vegan menu (couple of options on each course) and the food was super lovely. Nice wholesome pub food but of a higher calibre that you could expect in a restaurant. Delicious. The staff were so attentive. I wish I could remember the person name who checked me in and served (red hair and glasses, so to describe your appearance, but you deserve credit 😁) this person knows how to run a bar/restaurant and is clearly super capable. They even went out to go get me oat milk for morning. Top service!
We had a one night stay because of a local wedding so decided to stay overnight at the ship inn.
Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good..
Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts.
I was delighted with everything and would go back again no problem 😊
We ate lunch and everything was delicious. Room nice, big and clean. The only critic would be to invest in a mattetess topper as springs could be felt.
