Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The connecting room is too small and the price is too expensive for that kind of room. And the floor is broken. This is unbelievable for the 5 start hotel.
This hotel is no where close to a 5 star. Un friendly staff. You pay 90 Euro for a buffet only to notice that quite some stuff are done in first 45 min and being told that is over and cannot be remade.
Falsely advertised as a spa hotel but they have not built the spa facilities or the indoor pool yet. When we questioned this they took no responsibility and blamed Expedia. Garden areas are just dry patches of grass that have had little attention. Staff are all pretty junior and not able to deal with requests without referring to a manager. There were not enough sun loungers and not enough staff to clear empty glasses from the pool area and to re-set breakfast tables. There was a good variety of food and the decor of the hotel was pleasant but overall a disappointing experience for a “5 star” hotel.
As an Expedia customer I’ve come to expect little from VIP Upgrades. And the room allocated had no working aircon. I didn’t report until checkout . But . its supposed to be 5*. Aircon control was not even connected to electricity so could not have been fixed anyway.
This was for the Deluxe Garden room.
A solid 4 star hotel, lacking those details to make it a 5 star.
Pros: staff very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and area.
Cons: breakfast/dinner: limited choice and food not replenished/left for too long. Some dishes served with wooden scissor tongs a joke…
Spa not open yet and building work ongoing - strong varnish smell in lobby/restaurant area.
Great welcome friendly staff and very helpful the level is what added that extra special touch to our stay.will book again and looking forward to coming back.
