Location cannot be beat. If you need to be in south Cali. The staff is friendly , breakfast buffet is great. However the hotel is in need of renovation. The carpets are worn out, there is rust, chipping paint, and scratches everywhere, mattress are old.

Hotel does not have a policy in place to turn in items inadvertently forgotten. Hotel does not offer wash cloths to shower, iron, hair dryer. Hotel is structurally sound however needs to be renovated. Furniture and closets are badly chipped/scratched off; shower/tub have old stains that look like dirt and mildew.

The property was awesome. Very nice and safe area, just most restaurants around the area didn't have air conditioning, but the food is amazing. The hotel itself has a restaurant with amazing food and awesome staff. There are some white suvs parked right outside the hotel. The drivers are very knowledgeable of the city and very friendly. Just make a reservation with them or the hotel's receptionist. It may be difficult to hail a yellow cab around the city.
