As soon as we arrived at reception, there was no information provided about the hotel amenities, including opening and closing times for the swimming pool. There was very little customer service overall—just pressure to book breakfast at an additional cost, and to pay extra for parking.
We had a lot of luggage, yet the front desk staff simply handed us a trolley and expected us to load and take our bags to the room ourselves. This is something I would normally expect hotel staff to assist with, especially when paying to stay at the property.
Breakfast was a complete waste of time, with food served cold. Parking was also poorly managed—despite paying for hotel parking, there were no spaces available and we had to park on a side road.
The staff were rude and unpleasant throughout our stay. I would not recommend this hotel. Although the price was cheap, it’s clear why—the customer service was appalling.
