I really enjoyed my stay at Eagle Ibis Canberra. It’s a nice, quiet place with clean rooms and a clean toilet. A comfortable and peaceful stay—I would happily recommend it.

The reception and photographic representations significantly exceeded the quality of our reservation. Initially, the rooms appeared clean. However, upon consolidating the three single beds, which were equipped with wheels, we observed a lack of cleanliness beneath all three, revealing accumulated debris such as dried fruit, crumbs, and dust. The television remote control in the designated children's room was missing its cover, thereby exposing batteries to potential access by a toddler. Furthermore, the children's room, furnished with the three single beds, also housed the kitchen area, where breakable items including glasses, plates, and mugs were accessible to children. Fortunately, the countertop was sufficiently elevated to allow us to store these items out of reach. Additionally, we discovered an electrical outlet with exposed wiring within the room. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, exhibiting friendliness and a high degree of helpfulness. A notable advantage of this location is its proximity to numerous family-friendly dining establishments and entertainment venues for children.

A very bad experience for us which had us checking out early after the first night. Our bathroom was not properly cleaned, we arrived to find a ball of hair on the floor and the toilet reeked of urine and there was stained toilet paper stuck under the rim. Reception told us there were no rooms available to move us to and the cleaning staff had left for the day. My kids would hold their breath when using the bathroom and would not shower there. We couldn’t wait to get out! Other than that the resort itself is quite run down, but no issues with the staff we encountered.
