Hotel Belo is an absolute gem, we stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every second. The staff are all amazing, very helpful and friendly. Special shout outs to Hugo, Gerardo (Gerry), and Toni. They made us feel like we were at home with our friends. The rooms and overall property were very clean with a nice modern but rustic style. We enjoyed the location as it was away from the hectic touristy area around Playa Norte. The island is very small and with the rented golf cart we can be anywhere we need within 10 mins. The only thing I can think that could be better is the water out front is not the best for swimming, but for the price you cant go wrong with Hotel Belo! We will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special trip!

Watch you damage deposit charges.

Everything was great until the last day. We spilled some coffee in the room onto the wood cabinet. We cleaned it up with the handtowel. They charged us for "additional cleaning" for the towel. What were we supposed to do? Leave it and damage the cabinet? Use the toilet paper - have you used the toilet paper there??

Mateo was amazing from the moment we got to the resort. The room was very clean and well appointed. The gym was much better than most at tropical resorts. The food was very good & all servers SO nice & accommodating. It would be great if the pool had some circulating water during the hot afternoon, and maybe more than 2 coffee pods in the room per day.

The all-inclusive options were great. Food was good. Music was way too loud. I don't know why these hotels have to do that when people come to their places on vacation? We want to relax... the staff was excellent shout outs to Celeste, Mateo, Hugo, Julio, Gabriel and the bartenders:)

AWESOME experience! I am definitely coming back. I enjoyed the relaxed environment. The staff & service was exceptional. Their menu offers many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everyone has a different palate so you might not like everything. We tried different options and stuck to what we liked. The hotel's beach access is very small, not very appreciative but the hotels amenities, staff, and service makes up for it. I recommend to visit playa norte to enjoy the beach, it is beautiful but busy! You have the option to take a taxi or rent a golf cart to get to the beach. Regardless, of their small beach access I would come back for it's tranquil and relaxed vibe.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Belo. I did the all-inclusive option. I enjoyed the food and the amenities. It was a more chill environment compared to the large resort properties. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mateo at the front.

This property was NOTHING like it was advertised. The hotel is understaffed- LONG wait times for drinks and food. The food and drinks never came as ordered. The only restaurant on site was HOT- no central air. Guest were allowed to smoke while dinning at the restaurant. The restaurant and bars were understocked… “that’s not available.” The rooftop pool was DIRTY! Hotel Beló allows locals and travelers to get day passes and they use that pool as a community bathroom… and you can’t use the pool downstairs because the kids rule the roost- cannonballing and yelling making for a not so relaxing time. The access to the water is limited and not anything you can enjoy- not as advertised! The gym was incredible for a hotel and the room was nice.
