We have stayed at this resort many times always enjoy the nice beach, good food and nice property. Only thing I've noticed over the years some of the amenities are not as good anymore, for example the cabanas used to be at no charge first come first served not anymore, they have less options for snacks in the room they used to have a drawer full, just to mention a couple. But overall still a good place to stay.

The food is excellent with a lot of variety. The pools were clean and they try to keep entertainment at all times. The beds are comfy, clean and with nice AC always. The bar drinks are nice and the staff is always friendly and happy to help. The bar tender names I remember are Alejandro ( who makes very good drinks) Alexander (bar tender) and Jesus ( who also was very kind and made us very good drinks). He remembered us all the time. The only bad side is that I wanted French fries and they didn’t allow me to get them out of the restaurant to the chairs around the pool. Several restrictions like no smoking on designated areas for it. The shows were good but sadly there’s no theater and the shows are only 45 minutes ( kind of short). However, overall was very nice stay.

Great Stay Overall, But Room for Improvement in Asian Cuisine The resort offered a beautiful ocean view, exceptionally kind staff, and top-notch room cleaning service. all of which made my stay enjoyable and relaxing. However, as an Asian guest, I was hoping for more satisfying Asian food options, especially something that could help balance out the heavy & greasy dishes. I tried the Korean bibimbap & Ramen, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. A simple addition like an instant ramen station at the buffet could go a long way in providing comfort food for late-night cravings and refreshing the palate.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun never disappoints! This is our third time being here and we love it everytime we come to Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Everyone is so nice and professional and they make every day so memorable. You won't regret booking your stay her; the hotel room, the amenities, restaraurants, entertainment, everything (they even have reformer pilates!)!!!. Loved every day and every moment here!!

Overall, the Hyatt Ziva was a very good stay for our group. The location is excellent, there is a wide variety of restaurants/bars, the staff is excellent and they delivered great value for the money. Other than the opportunities with the pool entertainment staff and the food at Tradewinds, everything else was great. You won’t be disappointed!
