Great experience from check-in to check-out. Staff was very friendly and accommodated every request. Plenty of dining options and food was well prepared. Access to the other RIU properties was a bonus. Only downside was excessive amounts of seaweed in the ocean. This was obviously no one's fault but made the beach at the hotel unusable if you wanted to swim in the ocean. Really only a minor inconvenience. Would highly recommend and should we have the chance to travel to Cancun again this property would be at the top of our list.

This is our second time staying here. The food is great. The staff is great. The facilities are great. The only thing I would give would be the entertainment. They are definitely geared towards 25 year-old techno music played as loud as you can get it. We missed when they had Elvis show‘s magic shows and things like that. They have a RIU party four days a week that’s basically just they blow a bunch of soap and bubbles and young people get down and dance to techno music. It would be great if they returned to having entertainment at this resort and not having to shuttle. This was also the first time that they were just an over abundance of excessively drunk people which I know is not the fault of the facility. We watch people be taken out in wheelchairs. We helped people in the pool so they didn’t drown. We aren’t sure that we’ll come back.

Beautiful property, great value. Food was good, not great but plenty of options. Beautiful pools. Not a very walkable beach . Many restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

The beach was my favorite , cool and clear. Room clean Food not great except maybe breakfast, but overall nice experience.

I can’t say enough about the RIU chain of hotels. I’ve been to several of these hotels but this one is truly exceptional, from the staff to the quality of the food. Always a go to place.
