The room was very clean. Excellent breakfast.the staff were very helpful .Plenty of parking.Plus an easy walk into the center. We would be quite happy to stay there again.

Hotel located in a nice and quiet neighborhood at walking distance from the city center. Room was small but clean. Staff was very kind. Breakfast offered several options. The part of the hotel I was allocated to was very old and would benefit from significant renovation. Bed was really uncomfortable.

ideal place to stay for Canterbury

did find food portions differed each day, particularly the breakfast, first day asked for scrambled egg on toast, one piece of bread small portion of scrambled egg, (glad I wasn't paying the full price) second day thought I would try scrambled egg again with hash brown, one hash brown small portion of scrambled egg! so I did point this out to the waitress, seems this is the standard portion and priced separately, if you want more need to ask, (bit late now) third day, lets go for the full English no tomatoes, " would you like two eggs"? please, two eggs beans one slice of bacon, one sausage, one hash brown and one mushroom! final day, repeat third day but, scrambled instead of fried, on the plate, beans, two slices of bacon, one sausage, one hash brown, plenty of mushrooms, so I take it the longer you stay the bigger the breakfast gets? apart from that enjoyed our stay, this was our second time, building getting a bit tired, guttering needs cleaning, roof leaks in places, looked after by staff,

Nice installations; it feels like a traditional Canterbury house. We stayed in the double bed room, and it was comfortable and clean. The restaurant is great, we had the ligth breakfast and the full english breakfast, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. The hotel is relatively close to the railway station, it takes about 10 minutes to walk there. There are no bus stations close to the hotel.

Lovely friendly staff in the hotel and the restaurant. Food excellent. Great having free parking, which we could then walk 20 minutes into central Canterbury.
