Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, great to have a walk in shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. We had our evening meals in the Coast Bar and the food was delicious, good choices, great service. Breakfast was great, plenty of variety especially for anyone that does not want a fry. I loved the Leisure centre, spent a lot of time there, kept spotlessly clean.

Had a superb three night stay at the Westport Coast hotel in October. The location is simply superb, on the quay, looking out over a few boats and the bay beyond. Worth specifying a room at the front, just for the view. Accommodation is also excellent, in my view faultless. The restaurant is on the top floor with a conservatory on one side giving views towards Croagh Patrick: we caught a stunning sunset and three atmospheric mornings. Food is great. The staff are sometimes a bit too efficient, but no complaints there. It's a 30 minute walk through the grounds of Westport House into the town itself, or 20 minutes along the road. There's a car park behind the hotel but I preferred the overflow which is huge and only two minutes walk from the front door. Check in was easy. The spa is great but was suffering from some technical difficulties when we were there. Treatments were excellent. A superlative modern hotel in a beautiful vintage location.

The room was very, very small. I paid for a larger room, at least I thought I did. There was nothing inviting about it. It felt like a hostel out of the 1970s. The staff at the bar were rude and treated us disrespectfully.

I think one of the best part of our stay was the dining staff. They were very attentive without being in your face. Very polite and good at their job. The room was fine, bed comfortable and room was clean. The area is nice as well with several shops and a nice waterfront area. It was just an overnight stay and we didn’t get to use the pool. But we ate at both the Coast Bar for dinner and the Luasea rooftop for breakfast. Both meals were delicious.Breakfast was included with stay and had a menu not just a buffet. Great place if you’re in Westport area.
