The hotel room, bed and pull out couch were nice/comfortable enough. My only complaint is the staff at check in are extremely rude and don’t make it clear that there’s a $35 destination fee charged to your room automatically so you have to use it or lose it. Had to argue with them to let me use it a couple days later.

Perfectly located in Midtown. Liked in so much, i brought some close friends to spend the weekend this time, knowing they’d be happy and enjoy their stay, all of which had never been to the City. Hilton Midtown did not disappoint.

The location of the hotel is excellent if you're looking to stay near restaurants, Rockfeller Center, Central Park, and Fifth Avenue. Without a doubt, one of its strongest points. As for the rooms, they are good in terms of price-quality-location. We stayed for 7 nights in the presidential suite, along with two additional rooms. However, when it comes to customer service, don’t arrive with high expectations. The staff is very basic, almost robotic, with little to no warmth or hospitality. Honestly, they could be replaced with robots and no one would notice the difference. Despite staying in the presidential suite: -No complimentary water or coffee is provided. -The kitchen is not equipped. I spent over 40 minutes trying to get some plates, and in the end, I was told there would be an extra charge to send them up. I- received a gift of flowers, and instead of delivering them to the room, they told me to go pick them up myself. In summary: The hotel may work only because of its location, but if you value customer service and hospitality details, this is not the place.

The Hotel is close enough to walk to Central Park, Times Square and Radio City Music Hall. Staff was friendly but check in time is 3:00 and we arrived at 12:30 and they wanted to charge a $100 early check in fee? He said if I come back at 2:00 there wouldn't be a charge. We stayed in a Presidential Suite that needs to be updated. We had no Microwave, kitchen, or coffee maker. Not sure why they called this a Presidential Suite other then the size. Next time I will just get two adjoining rooms.

Disappointing

When the toilet flushed it spewed fecal matter out of the toilet onto the seat and floor. The shower had black mold in several locations. We were too tired to change rooms the first night and dealt with it. When you told them at the desk that we wanted to change rooms and told them WHY, they gave us another room. Same room. No upgrade for the inconvenience. In both rooms the headboard was worn and shedding the outer cover, leaving residue on the pillows. Unfortunately, I was too disgusted with the shower and toilet I did not take a picture. There was no seating in the lobby to meet with friends and the restaurant was only open sporadically.
