We really enjoyed our over night stay in a superior room. The hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and had everything you would need. The only downside was the mattresses were brick hard and killed my back. Breakfast was good.

Lovely stay in a beautiful spot. The room was immaculate, very comfy bed ands pillows with the fancy coffee machine a bonus. So quiet, could hear nobody else during the night. Breakfast was delicious and a generous portion and all the staff I spoke to very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again

This is a great option for East Lothian. We’ve often stayed here when visiting family. At certain times it’s very inexpensive and always very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you, they were really helpful and attentive. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Very nice breakfast, we stayed for evening meal too, which was also very nice. Fabulous views from our room. Everyone polite and friendly. Would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Superb value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It was great that our towels weren't replaced when we hung them up. I would highly recommend having an evening meal there as both of our choices were delicious. Great location - we went into Edinburgh three times and used the park and ride at Wallyford which is a 15 minute drive away. Stunning views from the restaurant. We shall definitely recommend The Lodge to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

Attending wedding in area and chose to stay here for few nights. We’ve had a first class stay. Room was spacious fresh and clean. Staff went above and beyond. Both nights had dinner and again complements to the chef. Would definitely return.

Stunning

This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.
