The rooms were too small, average hygiene at best, less than average breakfast menu (i did like the childhood nostalgia with their choco-milk), room smelled like moist ALL THE TIME, could hear everything from outside my door and neighboring rooms. Don't recommend.

The place stank of damp and dry mould because the ventilation was inadequate. Half the sockets in the bedroom were out of order. The loo flush was broken. The bedroom was dirty. The hall was dirty. They put on loud music in the breakfast room (reggaeton I think) from 6 am. It was noisy and unpleasant. It was truly appalling.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME IN CARTAGENA, AND MY STAY WAS OCTOBER 22-26 2025. FIRST OF ALL THEY DO NOT TELL YOU BEFORE BOOKING THAT YOU ARE “NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ANY GUESTS IN YOUR ROOM” THEY “POLICE” YOUR STAY THE ENTIRE TIME MAKING IT UNPLEASANT BY PUTTING YOU THROUGH HELL TO HAVE A GUEST COME VISIT YOU. ALSO THEY HAVE “NO POOL, NO MICROWAVE TO REHEAT MEALS, NO IRON & IRONING BOARD IN YOUR ROOM”. THE STAFF IS MADE UP OF RUDE YOUNG BRATS AND WHO HAVE NO SKILLS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT ONLY THERE FOR ANPAY DAY!!! THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING THEY MAKE EVEN PAPER CUPS!???? WHEN I FIRST GOT THERE I ORDERED A STEAK MEAL AND IT WAS THE WORST CRAP I HAVE EVER HAS IN MY LIFE AND NEVER ATE THERE WHILE I STAYED FOR 4 DAYS. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS HOTEL THEY WILL MAKE YOU ALMOST HATE CARTEGENA BASED ON HOW UNWELCOMING THEY ARE TO NON SPANISH SPEAKING GUESTS! WORST STAY IN ALL OF MY INTERNATIONAL TRAVELS AND I HAVE TRAVELED A LOT ANS NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A TREATMENT. EVEN WHEN I READ SOMETHING ABOUT THE GUEST ISSUES ON A REDDIT POST AFTER I ALREADY BOOKED, I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEIR RUDE IDIOTS OF STAFFS KEPT HANGING UP THE PHONE ON ME!!! STEER CLEAR AND FIND A BETTER HOTEL IN CARTAGENA AND MAKE SURE TO CALL AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE YOU BOOK TO INQUIRE ABOUT HAVING YOUR GUESTS.

great stay. easy access to barranquilla and puerto colombia if you have a car. easy access to aquatic park turipaña if you have a car. good breakfast on site. very scenic. lots of mosquitos. bring repellant and a fogger or candle repellant. water shuts off at night so have bottled water
