Service in the restaurant was rude and the food came out cold.
The TV didn't work properly. It kept turning off randomly and sometimes you couldn't choose a channel from the guide.
The phone wasn't working. Went to the desk to check. Told not to use the preset buttons on the phone in the room as they didn't work but to dial the number. No one told me this. Wasn't written anywhere in the room. How would I know that and how would I know what numbers to press.
Had to ring and ask twice for more toilet paper.
Went to check into room at 4:30pm (well after normal check in time) and after a long haul flight and not having slept for 20 hours and told the room wasn't ready. It wasn't ready until 6:30pm.
Booked a room with a view of Tower Bridge. Lovely. When I opened the curtains there was the majestic Tower Bridge. There were also workers right outside my window so obviously I couldn't keep the curtains open to enjoy my bridge view as the workers were able to see right into my room.
Very disappointing stay especially the cost of the room.
