Its all about the view!

This hotel for me is all about the view! We always book a bridge view room but missed out on the executive rooms this time and it makes a difference. The standard rooms are very old fashioned and out of date - if it wasn't for the view out the window I wouldn't have been too happy. A little time to do the rooms up would go a long way.

Perfect location. Staff excellent. Hotel lovely. Our room had elements that are a little 'tired' Air conditioning/heating noisy and unable to control in room. Once reception contacted, dealt with promptly.

Best part ...The Concierge staff thank you. Ramos especially. I stayed from 1.19-21.25 & agsin 1.24-25.25, the rooms were quite cold even with the mini portable heater. I slept in my coat. I Stayed in room 1031 and was treated poorly by housekeeper. I requested clean towels on my second day and was rudely told by the hker to get it myself as she walked away. During tea time in the resturant on 2nd floor,1.21.25, the male server was short and dismissive to me, he was also yelling at the other female server during service. He must have been having a bad day.

Staff helpful, hotel undergoing works.

The hotel was a good price, but unfortunately, due to building works being undertaken, the room we were given was very cold, with only an inadequate portable heater. The problem (for us) was rectified by the staff giving us a different (and upgraded) room with working heating, so absolutely no complaints there, but it would be good to warn people booking that the hotel is undergoing some major refitting.
