Great location, on 10th floor and great views overlooking Katherine’s Dock which made the room worth the price (as furniture and fittings are very tired). The room could do with modernising, however it was clean and tidy and with the heater provided was warm enough.

I have traveled to many places in Europe and stayed at many different kinds of hotels. I know that they are smaller and sometimes outdated. But this one was just horrific. Don’t be fooled by the pics online- the rooms are ancient. Upon arrival into the lobby we smelled the most horrendous odor similar to urine which carries into the elevators. The bathroom had no ventilation and was therefore covered in mold. The shower felt like someone was spitting water at you. The carpet was filthy. And when our tv didn’t work we called the front desk who said they’d send someone up but no one ever came. To say we were disappointed in our stay would be an understatement.

Hotel a bit battered and bruised in places but location, food and especially the lovely staff more than made up for it ! Would definitely stay there again.
