Overall really enjoyed the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the river (not of the bridge, but still was beautiful!) Great location near the Tower Bridge and castle. Easily walkable to the shard and borough market. Close to a tube station. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for its price. Very very average breakfast. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also very average. Surprising they don’t have better food options being such a nice hotel otherwise. They were kind enough to store our bags on our last day after check out so we didn’t have to lug them around with us all day. Also have rentable umbrellas in case you forgot one.

The staff went above and beyond. We had an issue with our Suite and the Manager made it right immediately. The view….oh my goodness… that view. Incredible. The bar and restaurant, while pricey, were wonderful. The “extra” amenities in the bathroom were somewhat lacking but not the end of the world. You can’t do much better with the location. Plenty of modes of transportation within a few minutes walk. Did I mention that view?

Wouldn’t eat dinner again but would return

Great views of the bridge paid for early check in so was great to access the room before heading to the theatre. Booked a table for dinner in the VU and the food was a little overpriced burger and chips for £21 the cocktails were nice but didn’t really taste much alcohol. The service charge was 13.5% now the service definitely didn’t warrant that. Theres was only 2 of us and a service charge should be for groups only! Feel that the hotel accounts for its high volume of American customers with any form of service charge! The bed was 2 singles pushed together with a topper put on but when the sheet came off in the night as it was too small for the bed I wasn’t impressed. Lovely location. Breakfast was lovely
