Service in the restaurant was rude and the food came out cold. The TV didn't work properly. It kept turning off randomly and sometimes you couldn't choose a channel from the guide. The phone wasn't working. Went to the desk to check. Told not to use the preset buttons on the phone in the room as they didn't work but to dial the number. No one told me this. Wasn't written anywhere in the room. How would I know that and how would I know what numbers to press. Had to ring and ask twice for more toilet paper. Went to check into room at 4:30pm (well after normal check in time) and after a long haul flight and not having slept for 20 hours and told the room wasn't ready. It wasn't ready until 6:30pm. Booked a room with a view of Tower Bridge. Lovely. When I opened the curtains there was the majestic Tower Bridge. There were also workers right outside my window so obviously I couldn't keep the curtains open to enjoy my bridge view as the workers were able to see right into my room. Very disappointing stay especially the cost of the room.

I really liked the outside space around the hotel, and places to eat and drink. The hotel doesn’t look that inviting from the outside, but inside it is really nice. Clean rooms, with toiletries and lots of hot water. Tea and coffee and water, and nice comfy beds.

Shocking hotel, avoid.

A 4 star hotel that does not have aircon is shocking. The hotel fan that had been provided was missing an earth pin, hadn't been pat tested, and was quite frankly dangerous. Hotels are obliged by law to keep electrical equipment in safe, working order, this could have set the whole place alight. The desk staff didn't seem bothered by this. We got a new fan after asking 4 times and waiting 1.5 hours in the sweltering heat. The decor in the room was awful for a supposed 4 star hotel. There was a light and fan falling off the wall, No minibar, filthy carpets, a rusty bath drain, and a shower attachment that we couldn't even get working. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom kept falling flat, so couldn't even be used. After our room had been cleaned, the beds hadn't even been made properly. The sheet was an absolute mess. The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the centre of the city. After going back and forward with the hotel for 3 days, we finally got a 30% refund, which didn't change the fact that we had a terrible stay. Don't do it, stay elsewhere. I had a better time in a cheap premier inn... at least they had air con.

This was our second stay in The Tower. The staff are very helpful, organised and friendly. Good food & drinks which are reasonably priced. Great views of Tower Bridge and across the river. Easy walk to The Tower of London, Tower pier for Uber boats, stop nearby for hop on hop off buses and about 10min walk to Tower Hill tube station. Would definitely recommend.

Positives- Area well situated walking distance to tube, Borough market etc. Negatives- hotel not fit for summer no A/C, at least they provided a fan but you have to request it. Suggestion have ice machines available each floor. Good news they will provide bucket of ice but need to get at restaurant everyday.

Good but could have been better

The location of the hotel was great. Right next to London Bridge and London Tower. Check in could have gone better. Lady who took care of us had a very think accent (not sure what type of accent). I thought she said we were on 5th floor but we were on 1st floor. Only ate breakfast there once. It was a buffet and cost 25 GBP. Not worth it. Room was clean.

Nice and comfy

It was very good. Really comfortable and the room was clean. The beds were comfy. But would be nicer if we had extra curtains or windows are tinted? as the room we stayed in was right opposite the offices, anyone can look righr in. Also the shower head was broken so water was spraying everywhere. But in general it was very nice. I would like to stay there again next time.

Property was great. Room was clean, food in the restaurant was delicious and the location can't be beat. One complaint was we were on the fourth floor and the AC was extremely weak and could not be adjusted much. This was not a problem while we were about but when we came back to sleep I was wishing the room was a lot cooler.
