We had a wonderfull experience at Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn . The place was near to the Hunter valley gardens and the host was very friendly and helpful .

The new owners are trying hard, but....the lighting in the room was very ordinary and the advertised wifi was intermittent at best. I understand this is about to be upgraded but is still being advertised as available on Expedia. Parking was tight, I was squeezed between two big vehicles. The good news: management is friendly and helpful, the cleanliness can’t be faulted and it’s surprisingly quiet.

Basic, inexpensive, clean and comfortable. The owners are so amazing and friendly and go out of their way to help visitors. Highly recommend if you need somewhere close to the vineyards, events, etc.

Convenient location (we walked to the Cessnock Hotel for dinner), spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Whilst the building is older in style the bedroom had new beds, carpet and was crisp and clean. Would stay there again and recommend.

There was plenty of space in the carpark, and the spaces are angled for ease of ingress and egress. There is no sign outside the building that announces this is Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn, only announces Motor Inn, and we drove passed and had to double back.
