Wonderful hotel. Great for business travel. I was a business woman traveling solo and the Front Desk was so kind and helpful. The restaurant was great to sit, get wrk done and have a meal. Did have to have maintenance come fix the ac and a light that wouldn't shut off. However, they were professional and respectful (it was also a later hour). I would've given 5 stars however, the ONLY reason I didn't is housekeeping. They didn't do a great job of cleaning (i'm not messy by any means). But replacing basics in the bathroom and in the coffee bar didn't happen. Fixed my bed sheets but didn't left pillows a mess. Basically bare minimum efforts. Otherwise absolutely great spot and a beautiful walk to where I needed to be. Would recommend for travel!

After visiting this hotel many times over the years for the first time we found it lacking in cleanliness which was a disappointment. Rugs are stained and one of our bed covers had two large stains even though it appeared freshly washed. The duvet insert in one of our rooms was also stained. The bathrooms appeared clean except for the shower floors that had some hair in both rooms. You can tell they had been wiped but not thoroughly. Other than cleanliness, the hotel is very convenient to shops and restaurants and quiet enough that you can sleep soundly. They have a bar, restaurant which is ok and offer covered self parking for $15 per night. Some people have mentioned they had some cars broken in but we found the parking to be safe.

We’ve stayed at Canopy SouthPark countless times in the last few years and had always appreciated cleanliness and staff. This time we found a stained comforter and very dirty area rug. In our second room the rug was stained as well. It’s time for a deep cleaning or maybe rug replacement. Parking used to be free and now it’s $15 which for the area is reasonable. The restaurant is ok, service at the bar is pleasant and attentive, there’s shopping and dining nearby. The hotel is quiet even though is not isolated. Front desk was professional and polite.

We have stayed at the Canopy in Southpark several times since it first opened. The property has gone down substantially in regard to maintenance and the staff. We stayed in a suite this time. No refrigerator or microwave, but a huge dining area. The carpets and upholstery were dirty. Upon check in, the clerks were downright rude. We will not be staying at this hotel again.
