I did not check in until 11:30 pm. I had called ahead and let them know I was going to check in very late. There was no issue with the late check-in. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and the staff got me checked in and out very quickly. Overall, a good overnight.

Easy to access from expressway. Bright and clean. Lots of puffy pillows. Nice lighting. Pleasant check in. Breakfast better than expected, included fruit, yogurt, eggs.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and roomy and comes with a microwave and fridge (no freezer). Hotel includes laundry and fitness facilities as well as free breakfast and tiny market niche. It’s situated back from the main road behind other hotels, so you can’t hear the traffic. I also liked the fact that the luggage carts come with a handbrake. No rolling into other cars! Cons: Bed makes a sharp bang sound when you sit on it. I could hear the noise from other rooms as well as my own. There were popping noises coming from the ceiling and walls, especially after I turned the bedside lights off. Speaking of, both bedside lights seemed to be connected and controlled by the same switch, which meant that I couldn’t have only one light running. They were also positioned up and away from the bed instead of right above it making it hard to locate the switch in the dark. There’s no way to prop the door open, which makes it difficult/awkward to get bags from the cart into the room and vice versa.

This is a an update of an old Baymont chain motel. It’s located in a pod of other motels just off the interstate. Good staff, quiet, good location for a visit to Chicamauga Battlefield. Standard hot breakfast. Standard chain dining options nearby. The flooring in the new units is wood laminate, no carpets. The old minifridge weezed like a dot matrix printer, though I slept well. Pet friendly. The adjacent unit had a an excitable pooch. Results may vary.

We had a great stay! At first we were a little confused but the Baymont was really nice and welcoming. You can tell they put money where it matters and not just made it look nice.

Upon arrival was given our keys to our room, but when we entered the bed wasn't made and the room wasn't cleaned. Went back down to the front desk to report the findings with a response, "I'll have to let housekeeping know". Was given keys to another room in a used key folder, but the room was ready for use. The room was dated with many coats of paint and stains on bathroom wall. Other than that the room was acceptable. For breakfast the waffles were awesome!
