Second time here got the same room Its seems on the second visit 3mths on furniture more used Dinning seat was dangerous to sit on. lounge table wasn't the best cracks n gaps in it Seems as tho the up keep and maintenance was lacking Second visit was disappointing compared to first visit Weve stayed at many hotels motels some numerous time n units inside stayed the same unlike the Nautilus

The Nautilus I found to be clean and tidy. Its rooms are quiet and well appointed. The location next to the beach made for a great background. I definitely would stay again.

Great location but very dated.

Great location. Property is quite dated. Spa bath was amazing but it dominated thr bathroom. Overpriced for what we paid, but i was a popular weekend.

While staying at The Nautilus Napier, our car was broken into in their carpark, which understandably caused significant stress. Unfortunately, we asked to leave early to address the situation and ensure our belongings were safe. We explained the circumstances to the hotel staff and requested a refund for the remaining night, but they were unable to accommodate our request due to their no-refund policy. While I understand policies are in place for a reason, I had hoped the hotel might have made an exception given the exceptional circumstances. The property itself was clean, but this experience left us feeling disappointed at a time when some understanding would have made a big difference.
