I stayed here for one night while visiting my brother in Bramhall. It is a lovely, quiet country inn, not far from Stockport station. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The shower had lovely hot water with a huge bathtub. All the staff was so kind and could not be more pleasant. I also invited a family of six that night for dinner and everything on the menu was delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Best poached eggs

Small but good room. Be careful if ordering extras with steak. I wasn't clear enough and instead of steak with some scampi, I got a plate of steak and a plate of scampi. Very kindly they reimbursed the scampi dish and only added it on as an extra - as I had wanted. Great breakfast as the chef did perfect poached eggs!

Disappointing

Disappointing for the cost of the room. Definitely the smallest room I’ve encountered in some time. Otherwise the room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was strangely proportioned which made getting in and out of shower (over the bath) a challenge. No soap in the dispenser by the basin. The food was very average with nothing fresh or healthy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
