Interesting to imagine what it was like back in the 80's before the Wall fell.
One of the world's iconic geo-political sites. Still worth visiting, but the untrammelled commercialisation of the area is a shame. The site deserves better.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous front desk staff. Comfortable bed and great bathroom. My only complaint is the cleaning staff didn’t ever refill the coffees and creams, give us clean cups or wine glasses, and didn’t remove our dirty room service dishware, it was a bit odd for a hotel of this level.
