Interesting to imagine what it was like back in the 80's before the Wall fell.
One of the world's iconic geo-political sites. Still worth visiting, but the untrammelled commercialisation of the area is a shame. The site deserves better.
Berlin is well worth a visit and stay at least five days. The wall is sombre yet fascinating. I chose to put in the photo of Checkpoint Charlie, but don't skip the sad history. #walls
